Phoenix Hydroblasting Services by Native Environmental is a high pressure water blasting method of industrail cleaning. Native Environmental has recently acquired the equipment and trained personnel to offer a service to our clients that we believe will save both time and money on large mastic and coatings removal projects on vertical or horizontal surfaces. The hydroblasting system uses high pressure water blasting equipment with full water and debris recovery to remove the mastics and coatings while containing all of the generated water and debris so that it can be properly segregated for disposal. The transportation industry has been using the system for years for the removal of lead based paint striping from roadways with a high degree of success, and likewise, Native has been using it to remove flooring mastics and lead based paint coatings as well as the removal of non-hazardous coatings for the past two years.

Using up to 40,000 psi of water pressure, Phoenix hydroblasting services utilizes equipment that is capable of removing almost any coating on horizontal and vertical surfaces leaving behind a clean and usable substrate for the purposes of reapplication. Without the use of messy solvents that can cause odor issues and problems with the put back of other materials, this system can save time and money, particularly on larger scale projects. Use of the hydro-blasting system with total recovery allows a clean surface while still complying with Federal, State and Local regulations regarding the removal and disposal of hazardous substances.

Native has used this system on projects ranging from sensitive areas such as IDF rooms where dust is an issue to stripping the coatings from the exterior of a 600 foot smelter stack on a mine sites with a great deal of success. Our employees are trained in the use of the equipment and are well versed in the intricacies of using this high tech system in the case that the equipment requires repair or adjustment during the course of the project. This system is capable of increasing the square footage of removal on normal flooring mastic projects from 1,500 square feet a day with 6 employees to a production rate of up to 8,000 square feet with just 4 employees. Production rates depend on the thickness of the mastic and the condition of the substrate.
