Native Environmental is proud to introduce a revolutionary advancement that is enabling us to lead the way in asbestos and lead based paint abatement. What is this you ask? It is a system known as high pressure water blasting with full vacuum recovery. This system might be more recognized as the system used in the transportation industry for the removal of stripping or in the industrial sites such as mines for the purpose of surface prep. The Hydro-blasting system as we refer to it has been adapted to fit the work practices of asbestos and lead based paint abatement. With the capability of removing almost any asbestos containing surfacing or lead based paint with water pressures up to 40,000 psi, this not only offers our clients a sufficient cost savings, but also leaves behind a surface that is immaculately clean while staying in complete compliance with all of the Federal, State, and Local regulations. As we all know in construction and/or renovations there are schedules and completion dates that all trades are required to meet, with the Hydro-blasting system the scheduled phases of work that involve using this machine can not only be met but often exceeded. Example: The Hydro-blasting system can produce flooring mastic footages of up to 10,000 sf per an 8 hour shift with a three man crew. To produce this kind of square footages with any other methods in one shift would be cost prohibitive to the owner, and the man power this would require would be a strain to most contractors.
